We all tried. All our efforts on keeping the forum alive and thriving were wasted.

But it was not all of us who planned this.

I read your post, and it truly saddens me to see something so powerful and so amazing be wasted by the few individuals that started it in the first place.

I really wish it could be brought back. Snabela and Josh (as I recall) do have backups of the forum, but by the YYG contract, they cannot be used to remake the forum.

I now worry about GMStork. What's going to happen if we let in those people once more? What if the administration of that website loses it self aswell?

I really think that when power is given to individuals, careful thought must be given as to whether they will abuse that power, or no. You've proven to me that not everyone abuses power, and that there are good people who deserve to have such power.

But to the masses of people who do not deserve such things, we pity.

DJD, thank you for your kind services during the GMS's prospering periods. You helped us fight through countless spam attacks, way back before the Pooka era.

It is a shame. What will we ever do now?

The forum meant hope and life to the poor kid. And to see the forum go down the way it did, I fear he may have taken suicide into consideration like he did when his best and only friend passed away the first week of April.

And what about other individuals like myself, who cherished the GMS because of it's individuality and diversity? GMS was a symbol for game makers and helped them realize that even game making can give a nice social life.

That precious value, that amazing trait on its own, is gone.

We now repent for all the stupid things we did in our time there. All the things we shouldn't have done, all the wasted work.

I'm sorry, DJ. I did disobey you multiple times in the past. I endangered the GMS overall too many times.

Please, DJ, and the rest of you who end up reading this, please forgive me. And to those who also share this deep feeling of shame, forgive yourself.

Your work has gone to waste due to inexplicably moronic fools.
